Annie has significant experience working with all party affiliations
to create effective policies and achieve positive outcomes for
vulnerable children, families and seniors. In Los Angeles she served
the District Attorney’s Office of Family Violence, the Council on Child
Abuse, and the Department of Child and Family Services. In all of
these agencies she was a strong and effective advocate fighting to
improve protection services for victims of violence, and to improve
the education and training for community professionals involved
with improving the health and safety of children and families.
Annie is also a former business owner. She holds a Bachelor’s
degree in English and a Master’s Degree in Psychology focusing on
marriage, family and child therapy. She is recently widowed, has
two sisters, and a dog named Love.
